The meeting will be organised by a Local Organising Committee chaired by Michal Hajek, MD, PhD, a long-time member of EUBS, and member of Executive Board of ECHM, in collaboration with the Czech Society of Hyperbaric and Aviation Medicine, the City Hospital of Ostrava, the Faculty of Medicine of Ostrava University, the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Hradec Kralove, the Cochrane Institute Czech Republic, The Czech Republic (Middle European) Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare: The Joanna Briggs Institute Centre of Excellence, the Masaryk University GRADE Centre, DAN Europe, and others.

Hyperbaric medicine has a long tradition in Czech Republic, in 2020 it will be 55 years since this field of medicine in this country has been established.
